5G's network uses higher frequency band than 4G——3.3-3.6GHz, 4.8-5.0GHz and 20GHz. As the protective shell of the base station antenna, the dielectric property of the radome is an important factor affecting the transmission quality of 5G signal. Therefore, the radome material requires the performance of low dielectric loss. Meanwhile, the coexistence of 5G communication multi frequency (3G, 4G, 5G) leads to the increase of antenna volume, which requires higher strength and modulus of the radome. In order to avoid antenna hoisting and save installation time and cost, it is necessary to control the weight of multi frequency antenna within 50kg. Lightweight radome materials are also developed to meet the requirement of 5G antenna design. In view of the coexistence of 5G communication multi frequency (3G, 4G, 5G) and the new demand for material performance, through the cooperation with Wuhan University of Technology and Wuhan Textile University, GYCPRO carried out technical research on special polymer materials and products for 5G base station antenna radome, and provide the solutions of the radome products with low dielectric constant, low dielectric loss, weather resistance, high strength, high modulus and environmental friendliness.
